Late Mr. Chandrakant C. Sheth, Founder & Chairman Emeritus

A Mechanical Engineer and an MBA from Birmingham University UK, Mr. Chandrakant Sheth is the anchor of Chandra International. He is an impeccable leader, and an aggressive entrepreneur, with more than 25 years of experience at his disposal.

Under his aegis, the company has received number of awards and certificates of Exports from the Government of India and other trade bodies. He was also elected as Chairman of the FIEO, an apex government body for the promotion of import-export in India. He has been a strong advocate of friendship between India and other countries. In 1992, he was the Founder President of Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce. He had also received the highest civilian award from the Government of Israel in 1995.

Mr. Mihir Parag Sheth, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

A MBA from Cardiff University Wales and with and added Post Graduation Degree in Family Business Management (FMBA) from NMIMS, Mumbai Mr. Mihir Sheth has entrepreneurship in his DNA. His role in Chandra International has been about opening new avenues for the organization and making it future ready. His youthful vigor, effervescence, hard working attitude and excellence in service are an asset to the company. He brings a sense of freshness in the organization as far as ideas and vision goes.

Mr. Salil Mitbander, General Manager, Administration & Operations

Mr. Salil Mitbander handles marketing and legal affairs.  He is a postgraduate from Delhi University having completed his Diploma in Business Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan and later Masters in Business Administration from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He has 6 years of international sales experience having worked with Polaroid Corp./USA, Vancleef and Arples/France and Waterman/France. He has over 18 years experience handling national sales of consumer durables, IT products besides legal affairs.

Mr. Sant Duggal, General Manager - Aviation In-flight Systems

Mr. Sant Duggal is an expert on in-flight services and heads the same department on an exclusive basis.  He has retired from Air-India with an experience of 35 years in In-flight service department dealing with in-flight service requirements, galley planning, etc. After retiring from Air-India he was gainfully employed with East West Airlines as General Manager, In-flight Services for period of 4 years, handling total aspect of in-flight such as recruitment and training of crew, galley planning and food uplifting. He has also later worked as Executive Assistant to the MD, Ambassador Flight Kitchen before joining us.  He has accumulated 40 years of work experience in the Hospitality industry.

Mr. Mahesh Kumar Hingorani, General Manager - Aviation Ground Support & Engineering

"Mahesh Kumar Hingorani  retired from Air India in 2010 and has 33 years of experience in the Aviation field relating to Ground Handling at Airports. He was posted to US for 2 years (March 2007 to June 2009) as Regional Manager Ground Services to look after AI operations in the region. During this period, he saved more than US $1 million p.a. by restructuring/ re-streamlining the cargo handling services and other operational services for AI in the region. Mr Hingorani has vast experience in negotiating Ground handling contracts with handling agencies or with Airlines and has boosted revenues for AI from INR 160 million to INR 2000 million from 1981 to 1991. He has 10 years experience on operational matters as well from 1994 to 2004, relating to Ground handling Services at Indian Airports and complete knowledge of regulatory procedures and hurdles. He has worked at Cochin Airport as Executive Head for Kerala region( June2005 to Feb 2007) looking after operation of 100 flights per day from the region. He is responsible for setting up many AI new stations for Ground Handling Services."

Ms. Swati P Mohite, Manager - Finance

Ms. Swati Pradeep Mohite passed out completing her BCOM with honors from Bombay University in 2005 and has been gainfully employed ever since at chartered accountants offices handling account finalization, budgeting, tax return matters etc before joining us in 2011. Ms. Swati handles all tax, budgeting, accounts, bank finalization, forex transactions, regulatory work, etc for the company on a real time basis and is a great asset to the company.

Colonel Kanwaljit Singh (Retd)

Col. Kanwaljit Singh (Retd) based at Delhi retired from the Indian Army and has over 26 years of rich experience in all facets of defence equipment procurement last serving at the Army HQ Procurement Cell. A person with a sharp technical acumen, he has worked closely with India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and was associated with planning / procurement of equipment for defence forces. His area of specialization was in CBRN protection and associated equipment.

Lt Col. S Guruprasad (Retd)

Lt. Col S Guruprasad (Retd) based at Bangalore had a 22 year tenure in the Indian Army’s Artillery Regiment, He has had varied exposure to the handling, management and maintenance of weapon systems. He has been associated with the development and testing of Indigenized Artillery Fire Control systems and has worked in close association with defence PSUs MNCs, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO),and Controller of Quality Assurance (DGQA).

Mr. Raghu Bhushan Khanna, Manager - Aviation & Airport Systems

Mr. Raghu Bhushan Khanna is Resident Manager Delhi.  He retired as Sr. Manager (Air Traffic Control) with the Airports Authority of India, has over 35 years experience in Airport Management & Operations.  He has been in-charges of different Airports in India and has been a Gazetted Officer with Civil Aviation Department. During his tenure he has handled VIP Protocol, Security and Access Control, General Administration, Maintenance and Upkeep of Airports, Store Management.  He has been a member of Aeronautical Society of India and has undergone courses in Aviation Security.  Has organized different International Meetings and Workshops and Seminars.  Currently handles liaison & co-ordination with DGCA / Airports Authority of India and various airlines.

Mr. Manohar V Das, General Manager – Administration

Manohar Das has been an accounts professional for the past 40 years having done his BCOM graduation from Pune University, in 1972. He heads the accounts and admin department here at our HQ with his expertise coming in good for administration paper works, e-filing, HRD, account reconciliations, finalization of accounts and planning & budgeting exercises. His vast work experience from 1974 to date holds us in good stead.

Mr. Aditya Vora, Manager - Hospitality (Perfumes & Toiletries).

Mr. Aditya Vora recently completed a degree in BA Management from the University of Northampton, England. He has a strong understanding in the fields of organisational change, operations management, and strategic business analysis. Having completed his schooling from an international school that had students from more than 20 countries has helped him develop a strong understanding of cultures, which is essential for a company like oursthat has such global outreach. He is a highly motivated individual with a forward thinking mindset and brings in fresh ideas to company. These complimentary skills make him an important asset to the company.
